Zhengzhou Great Wall Special Cements Co., Ltd. is located in Shangjie, 40km west of Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan province.
The plant was founded in 1958, and was the first calcium aluminate cement plant put into operation in China. It now has a capacity of 150,000 tons/year, and also produces a wide range of α-Alumina products for both the refractory and ceramics markets with a capacity of 10,000 tons/year.

Aluminate Cement (CA-50)
Overview of Product:
The CA-50 series of aluminate cement products produced by Zhengzhou Great Wall Special Cements Co.. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "ZZGWSC") are hydraulic binding agents with alumina contents about 50-60%.
Because CA phase (monocalcium aluminate) is the main mineral phase of the CA-50 series of cement products, these products have not only relatively excellent high-temperature service performance but also the characteristics of reasonable and stable hydrating capacity, rapid strength development and outstanding mechanical strength.
According to the development of the hydrated strength of cement and the corresponding value of mechanical strength, Zhengzhou Great Wall classifies its CA-50 series of aluminate cement products into different grades to facilitate selection by customers according to the needs and service conditions of their products. Meanwhile, through optimizing the performance of products during production. Zhengzhou Great Wall has made its aluminate cement products fit different methods for the construction of amorphous refractories (e.g. pouring and spraying) and meet the different requirements of various castable formula systems (e.g. traditional high cement combined castables (CC) and medium cement combined castables (MCC) for workability.
This series of products contains no additives, assuring the applicability and stability of products.
Performance of Product:
This standard applies to the CA-50 series of aluminate cement products including A500. A600, A700 and A900 products produced by Zhengzhou Great Wall. GB 201-2000 is also included in the table as a basic reference standard.

Product Packing:
This series of products is packed with cement packing bags conforming to the provisions of GB 9774, and the weight per bag is 50kg. Other forms of packing and unit weights may be determined by the seller and the buyer through consultation.
Transportation and Storage:
During the transportation and storage of aluminate cement, special attention should be paid to preventing moisture for extending shelf life and avoiding impact on the performance of product.
During the transportation, storage and use of aluminate cement, measures should be taken to prevent aluminate cement from contacting other types of cements (e.g. Portland cement, etc.) and harmful impurities (e.g. lime. etc.).
During the use of aluminate cement, the water used for mixing should be clean to prevent the performance of product from being affected by harmful impurities that may exist.
Aluminate Cement (CA-70, CA-75, CA-80)
Overview of Product:
The CA-70, CA-75 and CA-80 cements produced by Zhengzhou Great Wall are hydraulic binding agents whose alumina contents are respectively 70%, 75% and 80%.
The relatively high content of alumina and the relatively low content of various impurities in this series of aluminate cement products, especially the reasonable combination between CA phase (monocalcium aluminate) and CA2 phase (dicalcium aluminate), make this series of products endow amorphous refractories with not only very excellent mechanical performance but also outstanding high-temperature performance. Therefore, this series of products is very applicable to the conditions of high service temperature above 1,400°C and contact with molten metals.
The CA-70, CA-75 and CA-80 series of aluminate cement products produced by Zhengzhou Great Wall contain no additives. Excellent adaptability and compatibility make the products very suitable for amorphous refractories with high technology content, such as low cement castables (LCC) and ultra-low cement castables (ULCC). At the same time, the products are also extensively suitable for various construction methods.

Calcined a-type Alumina
Overview of Product:
·The calcined a-type alumina produced by Zhengzhou Great Wall is an alumina product calcined with rotary kiln with quality raw materials at reasonable calcination temperature. This product has a stable crystal torm.
·The calcined a-type alumina has the characteristics ot high melting point, high hardness and stable crystal form. The products produced with the calcined a-type alumina have high mechanical strength, excellent electric insulating property and outstanding resistance to corrosion and elevated temperatures.
·This product is applicable to ceramics with high aluminum content and high-purity structure.
·This product is used for the manufacturing of electronic elements and high-frequency insulation ceramics.
·This product is used for the manufacturing of various grinding materials, abrasive tools and wear-resisting filling materials.
·This product is also an ideal raw material for the manufacturing of various ceramic-level and refractory-level alumina powders.
